Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The contest formerly known as the Big Bluegill scholarship contest...

I'm currently working on a contest for kids that will be under the age of 16 years on September 30, 2009. It will now be known as the "Kid's Big Bluegill Contest".

We're going to be hopefully getting a little sponsorship from Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops, unless we have a member out there with a connection to another sporting good outfit.

The contest will involve a one week registration period. After all registrations are in there will be a 20 question science test on bluegill, redear sunfish and other closely related sunfish species. The contestants will have 48 hours to submit their answers. If there is a tie, we will then have a bluegill fish catching contest to break the tie. More details later.

There will be some prizes (donated by a valued Big Bluegill member), and there will be some gift certificates, which were also donated and/or collected through the sale of Big Bluegill merchandise.

The gift certificates will include a 1st place, and 2nd place and a randomly drawn contestant so that everybody has a chance.

If anybody would like to donate any further prizes for the contest, please let me know by personal message. I hope to have more specific details in the next few weeks.

Good luck!
