Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I am a new member and I am very glad to find this site. My wife & I are looking for an expert Big Blue Gill fisherman who would be willing to share some of his knowledge, techniques, tips, advice in catching the big ones. We aren't Bass afficionados we just like to catch bluegills. We welcome any help you can give us. Hope to hear from someone soon!

Hi Larry and fellow neighbor. Welcome to Bigbluegill.com.  I see you also like my favorite Lake, Lake Perris.  There are several members on this site that are regular fishermen at this great lake.  If you want, you can go to my page here on this site and see lots of photos of fish and fishing at Lake Perris or as we call it "LP".  I just love that place and hopefully I'll be fishing all spring and summer and fall for those big Bluegills, Redears and hopefully crappie.

Hola Larry - you picked a good lake for bluegill fishing! "We aren't Bass afficionados we just like to catch bluegills" - speaks volumes.

BG fishing is starting to take off - fish are suspending in deeper waters scarfing up the prolific bug hatches. Redears & Crappie are moving up to spawn.....

Hello Larry, welcome to bigbluegill.com. Lake Perris is an awesome lake for bluegills! Cant go wrong with crickets, bluegill love them! like Ledhed said bluegill fishing is starting to take off. This spring to fall will be a blast for sure.
