Do you love big bluegill?
Does anyone have any experience fishing a Stewart Spider. I'm also looking for a US supplier. Looking to use one pattern this spring ( just bought a fly rod) and the fly looks interesting. I was only able to find UK suppliers.
Thanks
Joe

Pretty easy pattern - trick is to find cobbler's wax. You could probably use a brown thread in lieu of the waxed thread. Lots of tyers here should be able to hook you up - if not shoot me a PM.
For sure you could use bee's wax....Here's a you tube on the fly
