Vince, been tying for almost thirty years.  I'd like to know how many miles of thread I've used along the way.  Ever since Jeffery posted the pictures of the grass shrimp, I've been trying to find something that would match the translucent body of the grass shrimp and would be easy to tie.  Think the stretch magic cord is the ticket as different color thread could be used underneath to match certain other shrimp colorations,  as  Allen mentioned earlier.

Rex, you are a real artist at the tying bench! That is a great looking fly. Just curious... how long have you been tying?

Now I'm starting to think about tying some shrimp patterns!

I've been thinking about teaching myself how to tie some mono shrimp, but I have some Stretch Magic.......Maybe a little Cajun Red Line on the body, then the Stretch Magic, or possibly some pink embroidery floss followed by the Stretch Magic.........
