Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

It rain hard all day yesterday from 10am til 4am this morning. Road's are flooded and the lakes I fish are 2ft above usual, it's so cloudy in the water when you let your bait drop it just vanishes as soon as it hit's the water. I'am hoping in the next few day's it will clear. All this week weather in the low to mid 70's, rain, and 20mph wind's gusting to 28mph. What to do?

I'll offer up a suggestion.... send some of that rain my way.... we desperately need it!

It's like a Winter pattern Angelo....another coastal storm is going to kill the Northeast....I really hate it for you....I lose confidence when the water gets stained like that....

We got 2.60inches yesterday it did alot of damage to the area. Another storm Jeffrey? When? Living in South NJ isn't good this year weather has been out of whacked lately. 

It's developing off of Carolina overnight....not tropical but the terrible Noreaster' variety...Several days of gusty winds....Very odd for the month of June.....I hate it!

I never thought I would tire of blue skies, but I have. Our lawns are turning brown, My ponds are way down, and the neighbor's wheat field looks terrible. I mowed what little grass is left tonight, and felt like I needed to remove my eyeballs and rinse em' off when I finished. It's not looking good for this early in the year.

sorry to hear about that tony, If I could I'll throw all the bucket's you need. All this week it's going to feel like May all over again. Our hottest day's were actually back in March when they were topping 80-90 for a week straight 

I love to fish stained water. Try using blacks and orange colors and chartreuse.

Muddy water is one thing...but flooded conditions that limit access are quite another. Our ponds are not as low as last year, but if we get a 3 week dry spell then I can anticipate a fish-kill scenario in at least two of the lakes I fish.

Ronnie M is right...black is a 'go-to' color in muddy water, especially on a bright sunny day, as it can create a silhouette for fish looking up.

I can't believe I spelled silhouette right the first time!

Going fly fishing tomorrow, Hopefully that the water has cleared up at least a little. Temp will be Sunny 79 and 14mph winds. Wish me luck!
