Go get them Art !! I want a full report with pics .I'm just gonna have to ge out there in my boat soon!

just go off the South ramdp and head to the power line by the dam. I love that spot. Don't need a gas motor to get there.

Yes but your photo is at the North end .Are you trying to throw me a curve?Lol!

So when do we see photos and get a detailed report .If you do good I'll publish you in IN-WEEDS MAGAZINE . You gave 'Snagger' his name if you recall !

If I didn't know better, I'd SWEAR you were in my little lake nearby.  That bridge and the area behind it are almost exactly alike.

Good luck with the Walleye.  I started targeting Saugers for the first time this past winter, and had a blast catching them.  Now I know why you folks up North chase Walleyes.

Now, if I could just convince the ODWC to lower the minimum size for Saugers to about 12".  I caught about 2 dozen fish this year, and could only keep 2 of them.  ODWC lumps Saugers in with Saugeyes and Walleyes, minimum length 18", with an except on the Arkansas River, from Keystone Dam to the State Line, it's 16".  I'm fishing the exempted area, but most of them seem to hit about 14".

How deep do you catch those lake Saugers Allen?

Walleye are the best eat'n fish I know of, ther kind of hard to catch around here.

I've only caught Saugers in the Arkansas River, never in a lake.  Where I've been fishing is usually around 3 - 4' deep, at low-flow levels.  When the turbines get cranked up, add another 4' in depth, but the fish move to other areas.
