Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

since i joined this forum i remembered how happy i was to get this bluegill mounted so i did some restoration on it.. put some clear on it to get it shiny again and took off the old wood plaque and put the fish on a piece of wood that came off the old beaver hut that i caught this fish off.. what u think..

Fish looks the same, except it's on a branch instead of a panel.  I guess it is shinier.  Do you have a photo of the live actual fish?  

ya i guess your right.. that panel looked like s##t i always thought.. ya i got a pic somewhere ..

No Cal...  it's a well done skin mount, but when you said restored, I thought you meant it was repainted.  I'm going to post a mount I made of a big Bluegill here in a few minutes...

well thanks bruce.. im hardly a pro or anything like that .. but when you fish as much as i do your bound to catch a biggun here and there..LOL

Cal, that is a nice Gill, I like the drift wood better too.
