HEY DILLY,

I don't know about tomorrow but hope next week is better down south!!!!!!!!!! They've had warmer weather down there so the bite should still be on , I HOPE!

Tooty,  So this is where the magic happens.  I bet tomorrow will be better, with the water warming up. if it does not rain.  Thursday will be best, if it does not rain.  I hope you have beater luck tomorrow.

I guess you can train me to live with civilized world, but the survivalist in me will always cry out to live strong and eat everything that can be eaten.

I believe I'd have to be starving Leo to eat a muskrat!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMany years ago I was a trapper and skinned lots of rats, fox, coyotes , and coons. When you get the hide off a rat is smells like 3 miles of backed up sewer pipe!!!!!

Yep Leo there are some monster Bass(GREEN CARP) , some really nice gills, and some large crappie also. The whole pond is like this all the way around it . Kent doesn't actually own the pond , but land up to the edge of it so we have permission to fish it! It's never been treated and I"ve been fishing it for 20 years . Kent  cuts the grass and Doug , me, and OLD AL THE WOODMAN have all fished it for a long time.

They did however have a problem with Muskrats, PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED NOW!!

No more rats digging holes cause the HERD OF RATS WAS THINNED SOME!

Who ever pond this is, this person knows how to mange a great filtration perimeter. Grass to slow down the water flow and take out the sediment. The grass bed around the entire pond act as a filter. But, the water requires a bit of treatment to allow optimal panfish growing.  This pond has major potential for large monsters.
