Truly beautiful pond. Must be an undertaking to maintain it, but the results with smiles and enjoyment for the family is truly the reward.

LOOKS LIKE FLY ROD SHANGRILA TO ME!!!!!!!!!!

Best thing about this pond is I could cast a flyrod nearly everywhere without a worry of a tree gobbling up my fly!

By the way, the bluegill are Native Bluegill and Coppernose, i will not stock the hybrids.

I have seen the same. In fact i had another pond at my previous residence that was only a third of this one and we had huge bluegill. i just had to work harder it being smaller and all. I cannot wait to see what happens here. This will be the 2nd year for the fish in the pond and i already have gills over 8".  They were 4 to 6 " when the fishery stocked them.

I have seen ponds smaller than this produce bluegills over a pound.
