Thanks Rick.....the dismal swamp of Virginia and North Carolina has some beautiful water in it not to mention the fishing!

Forget the gators being protected. I'm more worried about protecting my skin while I'm enjoying the scenery on the float tube. Not fun having something rips my limbs from me while I enjoy nature with a few cans of beer..or a bottle of moonshine.

Just set the picture as a background on my computer. Now if you can add a boat and you catching a bluegill I will change it again.....Lovely Picture

Very limited but a few have been spotted.....no gator season in these states....strictly protected.......A little further south in N.C. and South Carolina.....forget it!

WOW, look at the coloration in the background. I don't think I'll be fishing. Just sit on the float tube, drink a few beers, and sleep. Gators in the area?

It is a peaceful place Dink and the fishing ain't bad either! I have to pass several good locations to fish the Northwest but its normally worth it. Northwest offers a great variety of fish as well. Largemouth, Crappie, Warmouth, Coppernose, Shellcracker, Yellow Perch and Fliers to name a few.
