Hey everyone! My name is Kiana. I grew up in Michigan and learned to fish with my dad, I couldn't wait for each summer to come when he'd make us find worms in our yard for the next day of fishing. I learned how to clean and fillet them when we got back from a days fishing from my mom, who had that task. And that is where my love/addiction for fishing came from. Of course BG are usually the first catch for young ones and I love catching them still. I was lucky enough after I transplanted to Tennessee with my dad to meet, fall in love, and marry the man of my dreams, also a lover/addict of fishing. Bream (as they are called here in TN) and shellcrackers have a great fight and are always good eatin' if you are so inclined to keep them. Most of the fishing days me and hubby have usually consist of catch and release, we haven't kept them in quite a while. We both just love the relaxation the day brings to your soul and the excitement of the fight. LOL
BTW my hubby joined here as well....his name is Allen!
We're thrilled to have you here. I enjoy your writing style--and your love for bluegill. I hope that you and your husband check in with fishing reports and information throughout the year.
Thanks for the welcome Bruce...I write poetry so I guess that is where the form comes from. Don't really know!! LOL
We def. will be checking in and I can't wait to use your techniques from your float fishing blog! Hopefully I'll have some of my own pics to share with you all!
