A 3X long, straight eye nymph hook size 10 is my favorite. The same size in 12 is next. For wet flies is the 3906, size 12.
I'd hafta ditto Steve's prefs, although - when the water's warm and the wind is down - I go all the way down to a #18 (mainly nymphs and midges/gnats).
I rarely use a hook smaller than a #8 for BG because all of my fish are C&R and don't like to gill/gullet hook fish.
If fishing public waters of course I would down size.
Also flyrods no smaller than 5 wt because I prefer to land fish quckly, revive, and release.
if i am using live bait which is rare i use a #2 long shank(1 3/4 inch), for my gill and chink flies i use #10 to #4.
i tie a lot of flies in #4 i use a mustad 3260R,i find i get better hook sets with a minimum of deep hook ups.
On the rare occasions I use live bait for bluegill, most times I'll use jigheads in the 1/64 oz to 1/8 oz range. Not sure of hook size on those.

For the flies I tie and use for bluegills, #10 and #8 hooks are the sizes I use 99% of the time.
