Are those Asian carp the same as grass carp? IIRC from the California fishing regs it's not even legal to take or possess them in CA, but you seem to have more than you know what to do with down your way, lol.

Gotta show this video to my wife. She's Vietnamese and when we want a carp, we buy a live one from the tanks at the local Asian supermarket. It'd be great if all we had to do was go out in a boat with a light for a few minutes :)

The fish are Asian carp.....highly evasive specie. Once used to control algae and weeds in catfish ponds, this nuisance fish has found its way into the Mississippi river and many of its contributaries. Several people have been injured by the larger specimens while boat traveling at high speed.....this damaging strain is currently jeapordizing the great lakes as they have found their way to parts of the Chicago river that spills into Lake Michigan....electronic fences have been placed in the river to prevent their introduction, however biologists say that Asian carp DNA has been found outside the electronic barriers in the main lake. If they make their way into the great lakes, they could threaten the lakes sportfishing.
