AUTO = AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can do semi!!!!!!!
You are right Greg "Recently it has been his go to WEAPON of CHOICE!!!!!". That's all we were using this morning and the gurlyz got some nice ones today.
Hola Steve
The Auto is short for Automatic and we also have the Semi - auto.
Tried a copy of a new chub head pattern (Semi-auto) in July that was a producer. The original knock off (1/80th & #12 hook) was too small (almost all gut hooks). When it unravled (Auto) it seemed to produce a little better. So bumped it up to a 1/32nd roundhead jig & #8 hook and tyed the jig both ways.
The Auto got it's name because the first tye caught 7 fish with 7 casts. The Semi-auto was 5 for 7. Easy and cheap to tye - we like the chartreuse green & yellow & glo-pink colors.
Well, there you go!

This is my version of the Autos, it is not an Auto till it produces so it is the sotua!!!!
http://bigbluegill.com/photo/fabi-first-tyes?context=user This is a picture of the Auto. It is a little bit of flash for the tail with rubber legs tied in!!! 4 legs to the back and 2 to 4 to the frount!!!!! Check out LedHeds photo's and he goes into more detail in some of his pictures!!! Recently it has been his go to WEAPON of CHOICE!!!!!

Ask LedHed he will correct what I have told and go into more detail!!!! Til he does his photo's are a good place to start!!!!
would love to know myself.
Can we get a little more to go on? "Auto" by itself doesn't google up as any sort of fishing lure....
