Do you love big bluegill?

Fishing a floating rubber spider with spinning equipment

If you love to fish top water for bluegills this is a great way to enjoy yourself. I was talking to Bryon Mahoney about it and I think this may clarify the system for any new people who may not of herd about it before. It doe's work I use it quit often and enjoy some top water now and then myself. Enjoy and GOOD FISHIN.....

Comment by Kelly Peterson on June 17, 2014 at 8:25am: These were very popular out west when I lived in Idaho and Colorado. Most of them needed water added to get them casting far enough. They has a clear tapered pin through the center where the line went and water was added. Might have one around yet-if so will get a picture.

Out west they were used mostly for trout in high mountain lakes with backpack spinning gear.
