Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I love catching sunfish. There's hardly any other warm water species of fish that look as brilliant in the sunlight. And table fare, one of the best! And talk about putting up a fight, like fighting a cast iron skillet with fins!!!
Here are a few replica reproductions I have produced, all are original works.....

12-inch 2-pound Bluegill

10.25-inch 1.2-pound Pumpkinseed

13.75-inch 2-pound Yellow Perch

15.5-inch 2.4-pound Black Crappie

12-inch Rock Bass

 Good Fishing!

My chance of getting a qualifier aren't great with the waters I fish. Would you accept a bluegill hybrid? How big?
Just wanted to say that I think your work is outstanding and I enjoy the closed mouth, or slightly open mouth mounts, as well.

WOW!! That's some gorgeous work and a very generous offer. Too bad my biggest Bluegill this year came in .5" too short and several months too early.

That's some of the prettiest mounts I've ever seen. Great work Timothy!! Hope to catch some big winter crappie and may be contacting you if one is within the size range. Thanks again for the offer. Nick.

Thanks for the offer Timothy. You do beautiful work. I occasionally come across some large specimens. Are you interested in any other (warm water) species?

That's a generous offer. Welcome to the group.

I love close-mouthed mounts. So few artists do them, but they are really unique and realistic.

You call that art! Me too!

Your offer sounds Win-Win. Hope to take you up on it, if I'm ever so lucky as to measure up. Welcome to the site also.
