Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Went to Old Hickory this morning to work out some bugs in my Garmin 7 SV, no luck there. Decided while I was there to fish a little. Only had a couple of hours so, I tried a little bass fishing. Bluegills wouldn't leave my slider alone so, I tried a white Roadrunner. Nothing, not even a sniff. Back to the slider, peck peck peck. Changed to a dark Crappie Slider and it was game on. Caught about 50 mostly small in an hour plus 2 Kentuckies and a Largemouth. Just a few big enough to keep so I threw them all back. Sorry no pictures.

I agree David........we went back and forth this morning over a biscuit and wound up catching more fish at the second stop........solving the puzzle on a particular day is satisfying.........

It only took most of my fishing time to realize what they wanted. Figuring out those sorts of things is what makes fishing fun.
