Yea I think it's going to be a very hot summer. Can't wait for the warm morning's and near dark evening's when the bug's are out and catching fish my fly rod.
Excellent hunt Angelo. The weather is cooperating a bit early this year..not sure how the rest of the year will pan out.
Just got back a little while ago, did pretty good caught 10 bluegill's 4 pumpkinseed's and 2 largemouth bass. Last few I caught I let my fly sink maybe 4ft and slam it thought they were big but actually they were the the littlest ones I caught. Gnat's were all over tonight, I was using a #18 mosquito and I was happy with the result's tonight. A great night.
Greg, have you manage to land any thing at the surface during the rain event? I tried surface hunt during the rain, but the chance of my fly getting hammered between surface and 3ft below was always slim around here. When it rain during winter time, I head to the mountain to do other sports..or just experiment with other things. Tried to hunt them deep in the water columns, but after a nice 2 hours soak, well, it can be quite miserable, especially dragging wet equipment back to the car.
lol you are right about baseball. Well the wind clam down alot guna put my wader boots and walk the edges, see if can't get in between some nice tree's. Little chilly but not bad.
Rain delays are for Baseball!!!!!!!!
