I think it's notable that you've moved to near shore structure.
The fish won't be there much longer, I shouldn't think. This means were just starting that pattern and have about a month to go.
Congrats Ken. I had a jar of Gulp! pink maggots in my hand today, as a matter of fact, and thought about you.

9 in class gill caught on a 7ft light action spinning rig casting a rocket bobber with a gulp pink maggot. i feel the pressure of 2015 closing in on my quest for the 10 in gill.

That's makes sense, considering the size of the things!

So the fish being caught are between the ages of 8 to 11 years old... interesting

Here it is bottom of the eight and even though i put some runs across the plate... so far its not enough to win the game. 2014 drawing to a close  and im coming in short for the ten inches. several dozen gills today mainly on slip bobber and pink maggot.... the big uns though were caught towards evening on the drop shot and pink maggot. 8.5 to 9.2 inches.

rich... by no means

when i put this boat together it was all about economy

-4 stroke 5hp coleman (lucky to get it half off clearance) does a whole 7mph!

-15ft light aluminum john boat (able to pull with just about any vehicle)

-started out solely with electric trolling motor (talk about cheap running did 2.5mph)

and a multitude of launches within 20 mile radius blessed with some great populations of fish.

i fish two of my favorite lakes for less than 3 bucks a day!

that is three more dollars a day spent fishing than what i used to do sitting on the couch.

rich no blessed with a little opportunity yes
