There have been some AWESOME POPPERS made by true ARTIST, in the last few weeks!!!!! Some are made of wood and turned on a lath and painted to, foam made simply but effective!!! Many ways and ideas to making poppers!!!!!! What is YOURS?????

latest poppersThese are some of the poppers that I made this week,  I used envirotex lite as the top coat, it takes a long time to dry so had to keep rotating the poppers to keep the epoxy from sagging but it really seems to give a tough finish

This is my first attempt at making poppers using Greg McWilliams flip flop poppers from specific instructions in fly tying group. Cut it out of a flip flop, inserted rubber legs into a needle & pulled thru the flopper. Worked great! Easy as pie! CHEAP fly!
