THAT, is a nice photo!  Do you have the full-size image?  It would make a great desktop image for a computer.

One of my dad's favorite rivers to fish when he visits me.....How could you not enjoy fishing when you get this view on the way to your favorite spot.....Locals call this river the "Perq" for short....another Indian given name in this region!

Thanks J.B., I also take alot that never get down loaded....The technology just lends itself to taking lots of pictures and settling on your favorites....Now you just need to picture yourself in your new boat out on this river......Just think how long the letter would be to describe this shot.....

I'm starting to think you have never, in your life, taken a photo that was less than stunning. Simply beautiful!

Because of the thousands of acres of swamps surrounding these coastal North Carolina rivers.....the natural decaying process creates dark water.....Best way to describe it is just like making tea....start with clear water and the tea bags will stain the water just sitting there......There is a down side......Often we have to endure significant fish kills because these swamps when flooded by tropical storms/hurricanes, drop oxygen levels to zero for weeks at a time.......thus killing lots of fish......Beautiful Natural Water though!

Gotta be a steak biscuit, right?

Shove off at first light.....I don't push it unless I've got to cover some distance to get to the Bluegill hole....Anything over a couple miles and I want to head out early, but it's always after a Hardee's biscuit and a cup of coffee!

How early you gotta get up for that?
