Bruce, flyfishing after dark in my float tube is about the only time I've ever caught crappie. Besides, it's fun not quite knowing where your fly landed and then BAM a crappie hits it!

Sweeeeet... I know the male white crappie can get darker during the spawn, but those look like black crappie to me... I've caught plenty whites, but never a black  crappie. Beatiful catch!
