Thats what I thought. I think There refered to as a Sand bass or white bass here. Crazy how a fish has so many diff names.

I've got a couple other white perch pics either side of this one. These fish are actually in the same family as white bass and striped bass. They are in many East coast tidal rivers and lakes. 12 to 13 inches is a big one. They are very good eating and can over populate some smaller systems. I keep em to eat em!

Okay.... I give in.... What is this thang? Now you know what we call white perch down here is a white crappie. That looks like a huge shad or a funky kinda gold fish. He aint got camo on either!
