Do you love big bluegill?
Over time through changing weather patterns, flooded Cypress Trees will lose their grip and drop along the shore lines.....These "Pushovers" often create a nice little hole where the root ball was and this deeper pocket will often hold quality fish.....I always make it a point to fish the Pushovers and I see hundreds on every river I fish......

With no protection from the high winds of storms....these coastal marshes lose resident Cypress Trees almost every storm but fish thrive in the provided cover and so do I........You see big trunks in the foreground where the tree tops are submerged in the area because cypress wood remains for decades, almost preserved in the water which holds fish year after year.......Successful fishing is not always what you can see above the water but how does it look to the gills.....many of these locations are hidden to the naked eye.......
