Do you love big bluegill?
This was the result of trying the craft feathers found at WM.
Body: dubbed, using chopped scraps. I gathered the scraps that collect around a tying bench, and chopped them super fine with a scissors. I have no dubbing wax, so I used nail polish to adhere the dubbing to the thread.
Ribbing: Copper wire, stripped from electrical wire.
Hackle: WM craft feather.
Hook: #8 Sproat
Thread: Black, Danville 210 denier flat waxed nylon.
This should sink at a moderate rate, as the hook is fairly heavy. A squirrel or deer hair tuft for a tail and it could pass for a generic nymph, I would think.

Nice tie! Gill getter if there ever was one
I wonder. It mimics so many late spring and early summer pests that fishes gobble up. Deadly fly in the making.
