I'm in Mt. Pleasant just North of Charleston and probably an hour northeast of Blufton....It's down in Beaufort County on the May River....Lots of brackish water in that region as well....Good Salt water fishing down in that region as well and its warm down there already!

wow! we just cracked 60 in illinois. that sounds like an absolute blast!!! must be fun to have constantly shallow and active fish. my dad is going to bluffton tomorrow for business and some fishing. are you near there by chance?

This particular lake is full of heavy vegetation and pads....I posted a picture of the lake.....I just use my telescopic in and around these lily pads until I find a hot spot and jerk them out on crickets....you can catch up to a dozen in one spot....I'm trying to catch a 9 to 10 incher for mounting....This species will make for a great mount.....93 degrees here in South Carolina today and the water is in the high 70s already.......
