Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I catch a lot of seeds in the six to seven inch class but it was very cool to land one just under nine inches……I released this one to spread those genetics…..

Thanks Bruce….on average they are the smallest sunfish in the Albemarle……..this was a pleasant surprise, it actually looks like the body has outgrowned the head…..

Great pseed!They are aggressive but not plentiful compared to Gills in my Home Community Lake .
