".....kind of like creating your own luck if you will.......the more you fish the more of a chance you have to be present for special occasions on the water......."

Especially when you have a tackle box absolutely chock-full of custom-made lures, ROFL!!!

Gotta be envious of your fishery, knowledge, and skill, Jeff!

Like most anglers Chuck I have my favorites and usually start with a 1/32 ounce jig under a float tipped with something.........I do know the water very good and can predict where the fish are a high percentage of the time but I always study whats going on around me in relation to forage, wind tide effects....etc,.....kind of like creating your own luck if you will.......the more you fish the more of a chance you have to be present for special occasions on the water.......

Do you try a bunch of different baits or do you     just know the water time of year and what to use?

Thanks Mark......I've gotten wet twice this week trying to catch a few after work........Chuck these were caught on 1/32 ounce jigs tipped with either live crickets or baby white shrimp.........

Great haul. Forget the oil bath. Time for the dry sauna after a cornmeal blanket.
