He was just over 7 pounds, perfect for the fryer and will be cooked up either tonight or Friday.  Along with some Tilapia.

I can not wait.

That's a healthy looking channel. Looks like he has been hitting the feeder on a regular basis.

It felt pretty empty so I did not want to puncture the gut.

When I first caught it there was some sort of green looking seed coming out of it but not sure what it was. I had thought maybe duckweed but it was hard, and this pond does not appear to have a duckweed issue. So I wish I would have taken some pics of that.
