Three Little Indicators I use In The Fall,,,,,,,

I have a jig and a float for reference,,,,,,these are about the size of a standard acorn,,,,,,,,sometimes yellow picks up better than orange and white.........

So actually what your wanting is a slow fall then, If you downsized more wouldn't that achieve the same thing.

I tune it with micro shot if needed to create a slow sink,,,,,,,,often you get a take when the float is suspended below the surface as much as a foot,,,,,,,,when I employ an indicator It is like a commitment to tight lining in a way.......For example last weekend I was catching most gills near bottom in five to six feet of water so I set the indicator at 4 to 4.5 feet so I could see it as the bait went all the way to the bottom..........I'm going to try and get a few action shots soon to share what I'm looking at in the water.......

I assuming the float is at the point its almost under the water.
