David: perfect for fishing, picnicking and quick naps, that is, if ants and snakes are not the problem, beside the gatekeepers that want to make a snack of you.

Jeffrey: jealous!

The canopy on this bank limits you to a 16 or 20 footer Leo....I've been casting out past the grass beds with good success.....the fish are a little harder to land but the first problem is always to find the fish and worry about the other stuff later....

Leo, thats the kind of places I fish - on BOTH sides of the river.

Perfect spot for fishing from the hot hot hot days. But..can't say the same for the lines you lose if you plan on casting. So Jeffrey, 40ft telescoping poles?

Very pretty an shady, too. Bring a bucket with topper seat or a collapsible and chill.
