The best fish- Greg with herring /spinner rig caught 4# Pickerel , 23.5"

Fishing outside the pads and weedline in 15-20 ' .1st fish trolling a Bomber Long A 3,1/4" crankbait .Stayed in the area and caught 2 more Pickerel and lost one at the boat on Herring . Also caught a 12" Crappie on herring and a pseed on a worm tipped Kastmaster spoon . Greg got 2 Pickerel on Herring including a great 4# fish that was 23.5" .

Greg had a spinner rig on and used a herring and tagged the best fish . I am gonna start using the spinner rigs I made up with herring and shiners this year /I was impressed .Thanks Greg!

Ya know leo it was a single hook Greg had that was thick gauge, but I got careless removing it . I was using light gauge Aberdeens that were easy to remove without damage and were positioned in the same area of the back of the mouth as this one was .. The two treble Crankbait I caught the 1st fish on did less damage

Carl-  Greg's fish was a great brute ,same length as my fish 2 weeks ago but a # heavier .Was eating good and had a huge broad back/Shoulders They fight better this time of year than any other months as I see it .The water is around 80 Degrees at the surface and these fish are coming outta of 15-20 ' depths or suspended above that .

You must have used a some ultimate-hold treble hook to cause that much damage.
