Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I couldn't hide from these guys today either..Beaver ponds/creeks are so fertile that all fish just flock to these areas......Even better when you find their dam and fish adjacent to it after busting a little flow path!

Get it tuned every year so I can proceed with stealth Tooty....just like any old submariner would....People believe gills aren't any good in the Summer as well and I don't try to talk them out of it......I release 75% of the bass I catch because of regulations and I won't clean a fish over five pounds and rarely over three........

It's so funny how people around me, who chase after bass just for the game, don't know how delicious bass can be. They kept on indicating the bass taste like spoiled meat, skunk/rotten egg meat, or muddy meat. They have yet to sink in the proper way to prep and eat these bass, same as carp, or anything else. Will catch a few this weekends and stuff our faces. You and Jacob pumped me up for some bass meat. Craving it now.

A mix Leo.  Tripod, neighbor or my spouse who just loves to hear it's picture time by the boat...LOL

Very nicd! I agree with Allen, give us some food porn. You give too much fish porn *LOL* By the way, who took all your shots? Tripod or your lovely wife?

Try some crawfish or small shrimp in some deviled eggs Allen......That's a winner! Anything catfish is good for me......I eat catfish twice a week down in the Low Country.....Grilled one time and southern fried the other!

You, you........you, THING, YOU!  Teasing us like that!  You didn't even post the gratuitous food porn picture?!?!?!?!  May your knives dull and rust!

That does sound good.  Maybe, just maybe, if I can catch enough crawfish, I could do a crawfish-stuffed catfish dish.
