I want to fish more Bob before deciding......I haven't even tried the black end up yet.....I want to get into some solid gills and I will let you know......I used a metric o-ring to secure the quill in place.....worked well.....

did you figure out if the white is better up or down ?

I fished with the white side up yesterday.....What I learned is they will not support my 1/32 ounce jigs but worked great for the micros and live bait that I fish frequently.....
