Caught shallow on Strike King Crappie Thunder Jigs in Electric Chicken and tipped with live minnows......several 13 to14 inch class fish today.....

Will not have a falling wind tide today as we had a year ago on the same tidal creek......but we were post cold front similar to this weekend with air temps dipping into the lower 20s this morning........have to see.....located staging gills earlier in the week that may have pushed back out briefly........early April in coastal North Carolina often brings 50s at night and 70s to near 80 for day time highs, perfect to optimize the slow climb in water temperatures that turn fish on........

Thanks guys.....Joe and I worked through some tough conditions but we're still in the work force so some times you go when things aren't ideal.....the bite was very good early and tapered off as the water slacked from a quick falling wind tide....
