Bought some small crankbaits from an eBay seller in China and tried them out today.

The bass liked them yesterday. Caught one about 10" and one 17". The bait has a lot of action on the retrieve and sinks slowly when still. The water is still muddy here, but the bass took them. I had several light "bumps" I suspect were bluegill that I didn't hook, so I might try switching to a smaller split ring & hook on a couple of them and see if I get better results.
Not going to complain at the price I paid for them! (about 75¢ each) I could invest a dollar or two to upgrade them and still be happy.

I've got some too, but have not tried them yet. Did they work? Hooks and split rings are kind of big.
