small but hungry!
The local lake is finally clearing a bit. High wind again today (and a cold wind, too) so I went to the spillway outlet (somewhat sheltered by the dam) and used the new spinning outfit (Fenwick/Pflueger) with a slip float rig and waxworms on a #10 Kahle hook to catching gills & crappie on almost every cast.
Not big enough to fillet, so I tossed them back to grow, but I had fun!

There's a county park lake about 45 minutes from me where I've caught more below the dam than I have in the lake . There's a hole approx. 25 feet round below some rocks where I've caught a little bit everything out of . All small but willing to bite . Fun fishing !
