this one is busted now .I dropped it and the foot broke off the bottom cover .

I like those Country Mile 6 reels. I have a worn out one I used for years wish they still made them.

Yet I catch Gills like this thru the ice , it puzzles me Jeff! Granted the two examples are different Gender but I 'm wondering about the various factors .I'll have to find a Female from years past in a bout 50 degree water like the water was  today and compare .

To me it's the traditional look of the "pale" cold water gills........at least most of the gills in my region do this........

I am curious about the purple Blue hue  here ! Is it lack of good oxygen or cold water that reflects this coloration ?
