I guess so David,they seem to get purple and pinkish sometimes around this time of year through the ice period.

Tried some of that today, myself - to no avail. Your is sure a beauty. Is that a fall sort of coloration?

Yes it is a good lookerJeffrey.This was the only Male today.Mostly YPerch and female Gills today.It was like ice fishing verticle jigging off the wall except it was a warm drizzle and southerly wind .
