The fish don't stand a chance.
It reminds me of the line from "Jurassic Park,"...
"(sic) You were so intent on proving you could, you didn't stop to question if you SHOULD."

Ken, they release beta testing all over the coastal areas for the past year. The boys try to compare products to see who beats who on the line ups. Some of them agree that the WIFI tech is the latest and greatest (including Humminbird and Lowrance add-ons). They saw the potential on the RF, WIFI, and hardwired potential of one unit to multi-broadcast to other units to save overall the amount of tech required to be installed on the vessels. The on the left coast all agreed on one thing: They rather have it all hardwired between the bow and sterns for live accurate data during their hunts, although it's a bit pricier as the initial set up. However, landing the "catches" is worth the initial sacrifices. These guys are guides, lure makers, as well as competitors. An edge on their book is a factor for winning. Me, I just sit back and let them take on each other, clash a beer mug with the rest, and enjoy the blood bath.

Bill… they have three transducers with built in wifi available…
1-bobber type that you can cast with a heavy duty rod reel. Perfect for shore fishing.
2- fixed mount
3-portable mount

Tony… I wasn’t aware of the video app available. Wow

Leo… a few months ago I bought a couple gopro cameras. fantastic products. They provide a free wifi app for the android and iphone that allowed you to sight in your cameras and provide a remote access to numbers of cameras simultaneously or individually. But they initially had this 2 sec delay which was irritating at first but you adjusted and lived with it. One software update for hardware and app and the cameras now respond almost instantly. Incredible! This is live video feed…. Huge amounts of data. The products I am referring to from vexilar havnt been released yet,.. Christmas 2013. Hopefully response time is fractional at best. This technology will only get better and cheaper. My bitch with lowrance etc is the initial cost of their top of the line product. 10 in 12 in screens. Very pricey. Cost of a tablet 200.00 dollars and gps is built in!

Problem with it is there's a 2 secs delay. The boys used this in the salt, and were complaining that the few bites that could have been were lost because of the minor delay during the "triangular search patterns" they've used. They switched back to their Lowrance and Humminbird. Great idea none the less.

Vexilar also produces a color video camera that broadcasts in wifi, and a downloadable app that allows you to watch it on your smartphone.
