Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught another limit in the Roanoke today. A number of pound fish out of the 30 as well. Water temp was 65 when I left. Fish are still in the pads.

Thats crazy and similar to here, Perquimans is still around 61 to 62, some five to seven degrees behind other rivers like Pasquotank(lower) and Yeopim just ten miles on either side.........As you well know it makes a difference and I'm glad you cashed in again.....Weekend looks good!

Thanks Jeffrey. I couldn't believe the difference in the water temps from Cow Creek to 3 Sisters. There was a legitimate 6 degrees and those creeks are not a mile apart, if that far..

Very good Jack....way to follow your instincts.......that's a nice mess of crackers!  I'm excited because our water temps have crept up into the higher 60s in several rivers and the gills are piling in.......caught some really nice coppernose last night on the bank.....and we are now looking at oue first run of 80 degree days......
