Tony...as much water as we have around here, bank fishing is very limited or more in line with the warm water bite because of shallow water........ I normally visit a couple small lakes and ponds in my area to wet a line and catch some bait but all have been locked up with ice.....more than I've ever seen here in eastern North Carolina....I can't get to my beloved grass shrimp right now even if my boat was available because of the ice......I last fished on the 5th of January, the longest stretch for me since 2004 when I was working overseas but I should be back in business by next weekend and I'm ready to go regardless of the weather.........
