Yeah Carl.....we broke our record low this morning in Elizabeth City.....7 degrees.....old record was 9 back in 1934........but 50 tomorrow......60 Sunday and 72 with thunderstorms by Wednesday.....never a dull moment!

Wow..crazy for Dixie! On most of my local waters, most winters, we have this condition, maybe up to 3 inches of ice, for weeks throughout the winter. Too thin to fish off of and too thick to put a boat out. This year though I am on 6-7 inches right now and catching fish, despite being cold from time to time!
