Thanks for the response Tony! I checked them out . Specs are somewhat sketchy .Curious if 4 # test is the way to go with these reels or not and what rod to match it with . Hope it catches well for you !

John, mine is the basic model, which I believe is an ECILIR They run around $22-$27.

No pics, but it's essentially a fly reel with a faster retrieve, a free spool option adjustable for tension, a star drag, and an option for "clicker" retrieve. I've been wanting one for some time, but wouldn't turn loose of the money.Then Eagle Claw brought a very inexpensive model, so I took a chance. So far, it looks pretty good.

I received one of those inline reels used in ice fishing......perfect excuse for another rod to put it on!

Agreed! My hat collection, its ever growing. I have four tele-poles, spanning 9' to 16'... But can always think of a use for another.
