did you create your insight genesis account yet?

create an account at   http://www.gofreemarine.com/insight-genesis   register your sonar unit and you can download maps from the social maps area load them on a micro sd , then load into your sonar. you will then have a free lake maps on your unit

slip stinker;; it did not come with a chip thing;;   some kind of a chip is suppose to be sent to me;; to high light lakes around me; or something like that;;  dont know exactly what it does yet. that was the very second time i turned the unit on;; havent taken time yet to learn its abilities on the water yet. kind of -- just waiting till that chip arrives;; to see  what it does

looks good Carl...

if you have a micro sd card installed you can take a screen dump of the sonar screen by pressing light/button release it then press the +/button. the picture is loaded on the chip and you can view on the computer later.

first thing you should do is take the fish id off... it hides the structure somewhat. learn to not use it.

did you load a map chip into it? did you get one with the unit?
