Just awesome looking hue. Very healthy. Must have quite a bit of high load of nutrients and grass shrimps for it to eat throughout the season. Just gorgeous.

I think it was the angle and late afternoon so the camera flash activated as you can see a little light in the fish eye.....I don't believe I had any Coppernose today Tony, most had the winter Grapefruit coloring I like to call it.....

That fish looks like it has some copper on it's nose, is it just the angle and the lighting, or is it a southern boy?

I agree Jim and appreciate the information.....We are suppose to be in the 70s tomorrow as well and this should help water temperatures even more and give me a buffer.....You can rest assured that I'll be somewhere Sunday.....The white perch bite is decent but forget that if I have active gills!

Hey Jeffrey...unless it is a really dramatic coldfront, gills often remain close to the area and slower, mid-day tactics, maybe deeper, could pay off.

They probably shouldn't shut down completely.

Sleepless in Carolina.....TGIF.....Probably have to wait for Sunday and hope the Saturday Cold front doesn't totally push them back out!
