Great job Eric!! What were the sizes you caught and released ? I'm guessing these pictured are 7-8".?

The seed population has exploded in the lake winnebago system. I would say 10 years ago I would catch 1 keeper pumpkinseed to every 25 bluegills, now if you wanted to you could catch 25 seeds everyday.  I keep a handfull but release a majority of them just because the numbers of bluegills is still greater.

Those are some hoss Pumpkin Seeds, they don't get anywhere near that big around here. All of these years I've fished for gills, I recall just a time or two catching one big enough for the fillet knife. I wonder why those are so big?
