Can see from this shot that I still had a light jacket but the crappie had arrived shallow and the males were wearing their tuxedos in early April 2013......these fish will get banged up and have cuts and scrapes after being tight in the heavy cover shallows for awhile.......

You can see these larger fish are very clean and not banged up from the spawn...a true indication that they have just recently arrived in the shallows......this fish was caught at 2' deep in two to three feet of water......
