I have a weakness for the olive as it closely mimics the baby grass shrimp and crawfish........also the egg sacks start olive and transition to brown as blood flow increases as the hatch gets closer.....these have potential!
Looks good. Have you thought about using orange, or barred-orange rabbit zonkers tied on opposing sides of the hook?
great looking jigs!
i always wanted to try this but always forgot to buy football jigs at my source... these look perfect to try at the bottom of a drop shot rig with some live bait on a hook right above... i got this idea from in fisherman magazine and yet to try it.
i was fishing a deep basin in a natural lake on a thin school of fish catching gills in the 7.5 to 8.5 range. when something grabbed my offering and took off like a freight train. i was fishing with my ul microshot rig and advantage fish... all of a sudden it seemed like it just let go , reeled in and no drop shot weight just hook and bait. this tank of a fish went after the lead itself. so i always kept it in the back of my mind.
Yes sir, looking like catchers Jim!
Nice jigs. love the colors.
