Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got a great little puddle lake near Vermilion that is plumb full of 7-8" Gills. Nothing major but a whole lot of fun when you want a Gill fix...:)

I got me a mess of DayGlo fabric pinned to my shade hat, Allen. And I use some as a sun shade, ala Lwwrence of Arabia.

Visibility is a plus when you're on a kayak!!!!  Maybe I need to shop around for a brightly colored life vest?????

Nathanael, I bet a fly rod on that little puddle is a hoot!

Hey, I wear hot pink and fluoro orange, to increase visibility while on the water.

Lol.... I tweaked this Photo a little so my maroon sweat shirt got brightend up a little bit...but I wouldn't be scared to where pink out fishing.  Catching fish in pink is still catching fish...:)

Nathanael, I have to bow down to you on two fronts: Pinkish purple, or just plain pink, is my favorite color, but I rarely wear that in public. But then, wearing an ultra bright color and land fish?! You are one skilled angler.

Yes, its graphite. I like stiff rod action so I've settled in on the 6-7' ultra light to light graphite rods....Its been hard for me to find the right rod tho so what I currently have isn't my "Ideal"... but through the years I've been getting close...
